Hello to the beautiful human taking the time to read my ranking. As some of you may be aware I was introduced to bridge builders in 2019 through one of their programs the ‘UR Retreat’.
The photo above is 15 year old Ash on day 3 of the UR retreat in 2019. This Ash was shy, insecure and not sure of her place in the world. She didn’t have many friends, struggled a lot socially and was also battling her own mental health. The opportunity I was given to go on the UR retreat is one I will forever be grateful for. Anyone who knew me before this experience would agree, this camp changed me, I grew as a person and learnt so much about myself and the world around me. I also discovered a charity over these four days, one that I still work with and that I now have to opportunity to lead within. This year is the 16th annual UR retreat, and I’m so honoured to be one of the privileged people who will go away with 70 young girls for a life changing camp. I cannot wait to hopefully help other young girls just as I was 4 years ago. The chance to be as impactful as all the leaders who helped me (like the one picture above and many more,) is so special and I hope I can give to someone what I was given through this retreat. However, in order to do this I need your support, if your in a position to donate any amount of money towards the empowering of young women please do, and know your contribution is going towards the development of 70 brave, inspiring and special young women.
