Hello all
I am thrilled to be involved in 2023 with the Bridgebuilders UR Retreat for Young Women.
The UR Retreat is where 70 young women are given a place where we come together to encourage them and help them realise how incredible they truly are.
Over 4 days a safe environment is created for them to learn how much worth they truly have and how to love themselves! They will be guided and encouraged by a team of amazing ladies who want to show them that their past does not define their future!
The UR Retreat is now in its 16th year assisting many different girls from different situations and with different personal struggles. Some may include family issues, body image, self-esteem, bullying, social isolation, eating disorders, abuse, addiction or self-harm issues. This year I am so very proud to be a part of the team.
I have met many of the girls who have attended previous Retreats that are now in the leadership group and using their experiences to assist others, so I have seen that this really works.
