Biography
I had the privilege of attending the Sponsors Dinner at the Bridge Builders UR Retreat for young women back in 2024.
Having made such a huge impression on me, I signed up as a volunteer and attended the camp for the first time last year.
I am thrilled to be one of the Leaders this year for the 19th UR Retreat.
This wonderful 4 day camp is specifically designed for 70 young women, aged 13 – 15 years of age, who may be struggling with a variety of issues such as: self esteem, self worth, bullying, environment related challenges to name but a few, to come together and feel safe, loved, and free of judgement.
The ultimate goal is to empower, nurture and allow them to develop the skills to recognise their full potential and self belief. This year marks the 19th year of the UR Retreat camp and has transformed the lives of over 900 participants.
Bridge Builders Youth Charity is a not for profit organisation that relies solely on the kindness of donations and fundraising.
