Bridge Builders Youth Charity in Lilydale is changing the lives of young people since 2002. It’s 100% run by volunteers and all proceeds come from donations, since it’s not government funded.
The UR retreat is a 4-day camp for 12-15yo girls from the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. While I joined the camp as a leader in 2024, I saw some major changes happen. The girls regained confidence in themselves, learned valuable life skills, made their first friend, and many felt safe enough to open up about the trauma they’ve experienced in their young lives.
The impact I saw in these girls, made me decide to be part of the leadership team again this year.
For the 2025 UR retreat, we hope to invite 70(!) girls, but we can’t do this without your help! For every $199 you can sponsor one girl to join the camp. But any value of your tax-deductable donation, is greatly appreciated!
