Biography
I am raising money to help fund the UR Retreat for Young Women 2025 which is run by Bridge Builders Youth Charity. I will be one of the Leaders on this years’ camp again after being blown away by the difference we made in the girls’ lives last year!. We take away 50-70 girls between the ages of 12-16 for 4 intensive days to help them with self esteem, confidence, leadership skills, positive self image and really showing and teaching them that they are enough, and that they matter! Many of these girls are having a challenging time or are in challenging situations and could do with a break and need to be shown there is a way forward. I’m confident that what we do on those 4 days actually saves lives and helps these young women find a positive path through the challenges they are facing. This year we will be taking 70 young women away for this life changing experience and we need to raise a total of $50,000 to do this as the families only pay a minimal amount so it is affordable for all girls that want to go to be able to attend. I’m hoping to play my part and raise at least $2000 through this Fundraising Page.
